My Wire Sculpture

My Artist Statement:

When creating my wire sculpture, I had a really hard time bending the wire enough to get it to balance. I went into this project with a plan of what I wanted to do, which included writing “Miss Ella” in beads, but when I tried, I could NOT get it to balance.

I gave up on that plan and decided to just go with what the wire wanted and attempted to get it to balance before I added any beads in, which worked a lot better. I’m really happy with how it ended up looking, I do wish I was able to add a few more beads, but it’s okay! Next time!

I learnt when creating this art piece that plans do not always work out when being creative, but that’s the fun with art! You never really know what you are going to get as a finished product.
