My Collage

Here is my collage as well as my checklist to ensure I did everything, on task! 🙂

We used old magazines and found pictures of things that best represented us! We also found the letters from our names and added those to our collage! I found this to be a really fun art project, and it allowed me to express myself in some ways that I had never really thought of doing before which I found was super neat. I like that each persons own collage was completely different from everyone else’s. There was also no way to plan ahead for this activity, as you really had no idea what type of images you would find in the magazines, which I found also made it a little less stressful!

I like that the checklist allows you to go back and look at your work and ensure you have completed everything on task. I think this is a great art assessment strategy, especially for younger grades because it allows them to assess their own work, without being too hard on themselves, but it also keeps them busy during class time, doing their work!
