Free Inquiry post #7
My Summary Post!
Hello yet again blog!
Welcome back to my final post of my free inquiry project for my EDCI 336 class. Over the past few weeks/month or so we have been looking at the power of routine, and how it can shape our lives. Here is a general recap of all my posts
Posts Recap! 🙂
Post 1: I looked at Dr. Suhas Kshirsagars book Change Your Schedule, Change Your Life. There were many takeaways from this book, but the main takeaway for me was that if you align your daily routine with your natural body schedule, this can lead to better health, energy, and productivity.
Post 2: I touched on why I believe routines are crucial, not only in productivity but for our mental health as well, accomplishing more can lead to overall happiness, which we can all agree sets the tone for each day.
Post 3: I reminded all of you that too much of a routine might not be such a good thing, if your life feels like its overly structured it can limit flexibility in your schedule and make you less productive having a good balance is essential.
Post 4: I showed you my disaster of a planner, although it is the planner that helps me keep my life organized, I wrote a bit on how I thinking building a balance with a new routine, or just a routine in general is so important. Finding the right tools and resources to use can make your “on” days more productive and your “off” days more relaxing.
Post 5: this post for me I think was the hardest to write about because I never had much of an evening routine. I worked hard to find a good balance between my morning routine and building an evening routine but still having fluctuation during the day to accomplish things I wanted to do, even if they weren’t written in my planner.
Post 6: my final post on this topic, after reflecting and writing over the last while this post made me slightly emotional and proud of how hard I had been working to better myself and my routines. Even small changes in your routine, can make such a large difference, and just because the changes may not feel like a lot when you’re doing them, it will be so worth it in the end.
My Main Takeaway
My main takeaway from this entire project was, not everyone’s routine looks the same, and some things work for some people, and not so much others and this is completely okay, and completely normal. Some people simply don’t function well with a routine, and this is okay too. Find what works for you, and keep adapting it, life is always moving and changing!
Here is a digital artifact I created summarizing my learning, again I made it with Canva, because I just love this website/ app, it has helped keep my learning so organized and easy to keep track of!
My Canva Artifact !!! (I’m in love with it)

This inquiry project taught me so much about routine, but also so much about myself, and I am very grateful for it, and all of you as well!
I plan to keep learning and adapting myself to better my routines.
Thank you all for following along on this journey! <3
