Inquiry post #6- Small Routine Big Difference
Hi blog! Welcome back.
Over the past 2 weeks I have been reflecting a lot on how dependant I have become on my routine but also working on not letting slight changes in my routine ruin my day completely. After I posted about night routines, I realized I donāt have much of an evening routine myself, so I made one.
Not all routines need to be big!
In this blog post I am going to write a little about how making a small routine for the evening made such a big difference on how my days felt. After making a small routine for myself in the evening, that I feel like I can do consistently, I started sleeping better, I found that because I already knew what I had accomplished during the day, and felt good about it, I felt more refreshed and complete, and I could sleep better. It made a big difference in my days.
I donāt think routines have to be anything big or fancy, I think just giving yourself a couple tasks or things you want to get done each day and completing them is a good start to a routine.
Check lists!
One thing I found that really helped me when thinking of planning a routine was making a checklist for myself, something that looks like this
- Feed fish
- Make bed
- Brush teeth
- Clean bathroom

Something as simple as āmake bedā can help during your morning routine, not only does it make your room tidier, but it also forces you to stay out of bed!
In general, I think everyone can make routines, no matter how big or small, starting small with a checklist is a great way!
This is my last post before my summary where I will tell you all of the amazing things I have learned in this fre inquiry project!! Thank you for all of your support!!!
See you next week!
