Free Inquiry Post #4- Building Balance

October 10th, 2025

Hi blog! Welcome back to post 4 of my free inquiry!

These past couple days I have been seeing how much of my school work I can get done after class, even the really long days, to see if that would boost my mood on the weekends when I can solely focus on my job, and not think about how much homework I have to do when I get home.

FYI it worked great!!

Here’s an image I took of my weekly planner (YIKES I know)

My Thoughts

I found that after I got this planner and I started writing everything I needed to get done down, I feel much more productive, I now suggest getting one of these to anyone who asks me how I’m able to get so much done every day.

Personally, I think that if you can physically see what you have to get done, you might be more willing or likely to do it. There is also just something so satisfying about checking off all the to do’s you had.

Make your own planner

I think keeping yourself organized, especially as a future teacher is so important. I love love love to use CANVA as a template for me and my daily planning. There are so many templates on there that I think are not only extremely useful, but are also cute! I hyperlinked the canva website, but here are a couple of examples I found that I really like!

My progress so far

I have been having a really good time working on this free inquiry project, I have reflected a lot on myself, and how my routines really affect my days. I think after starting this project, I am a more organized, and prepared person for all my life’s things! Some really helpful resources I have found are the Apple calendar app! (I know, basic right)! But honestly, I use it so much, here is a screenshot of what my calendar looks like:

I know, again, it’s a lot right!!! But truly this app helps me so much, and I think this project has been such a success for me so far and I am so grateful to learn the things I have in this assignment, and I look forward to using not only my learning, but also this blog in my future teaching!!

Your Thoughts

I would really love to know what you all think of planners? Do you find them helpful? Do they make you feel more stressed because you can see how much you have to get done? Please let me know, I am so interested!!

This post was a bit shorter than usual, but as you can see by my planner, I have a lot to get done!

See you next week blog! <3
